Steven Arthur George is originally from Michigan, where he received his bachelor’s in finance and general business. His professional career started in Nashville, Tennessee where he spent 5+ years in the finance industry focused on business development. In 2017, Steven moved to Portugal to get his MBA, and has been working in the European cannabis industry since 2018. He spent over 3 years with one of the largest cannabis companies in the world, Tilray, as both Country Manager and European Alliance Manager. During his time as Country Manager, Tilray received the first ACM (marketing approval) for a cannabis dried flower in Portugal, and as EU Alliance Manager he managed the first cannabis exports out of Portugal to other European countries. In late 2021, he chose to part ways with Tilray, and started offering independent cannabis advisory services.
