Daniel Cook

Daniel Cook is a seasoned growth company leader with a track record of scaling businesses in emerging markets and breakthrough categories. He is currently CEO of True Companies (Trueco), a specialized flavor house with deep domain expertise in terpenes—the aroma building blocks behind more than $8 billion in annual consumer product formulations across cannabis, beer, and CPG. Under his leadership, Trueco has grown EBITDA 10X and sales 4X in less than five years.

Earlier in his career, Daniel helped build Endeavor’s Global Entrepreneur Support Program, working with high-growth founders in emerging markets to refine strategy, raise capital, and recruit talent. During his tenure, Endeavor helped catalyze over $1.5 billion in founder exits—an organization that today backs more than 37 unicorns outside of China. He also spent six years in South America leading growth initiatives in the wine industry, beginning as a Fulbright Scholar in Chile and later running commercial operations for Moët Hennessy’s Argentina portfolio—including Terrazas de los Andes and Cheval des Andes, both LVMH Rising Star Brands.

Daniel has served as founder, advisor, and board member across cannabis, clean energy, regenerative agriculture, and natural products. He built Keen-Wah(+) Foods®, a consumer natural foods portfolio with 250,000 community supporters and thousands of points of distribution, later acquired by Nestlé Americas as part of a multi-brand rollup. He also served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Califia Farms, a pioneer in plant-based dairy, helping bring to market products generating hundreds of millions in revenue.

Daniel holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he received the Social Enterprise Scholarship for his work on venture capital in underserved communities and was nominated for the Dean’s Award after leading the first private clean energy installation at Harvard. He earned a BA in Literature from Fairfield University and has been recognized as both a Fulbright Scholar and an Eisenhower Ambassador to the UK, Sweden, Finland, and Russia.
